What is a house of culture? It is a place where we create cultural events together, integrate residents and spend time. It is a space for exchanging experiences, shaping taste and participating in the broadly understood culture. Every year tens of thousands of people participate in cultural activities, festivals, concerts, exhibitions, or film screenings. As a local government cultural institution, we play the role of a regional institution. We design and implement events of wide range, covering the whole Lodz region. For us, design is a continuous creative process in which creativity has no limit. There are singers’ associations, traditional jazz ensembles and gospel choir operating in the LHC. And Lodz Port of Games is particularly involved in developing relationships. The event is addressed to people of all ages – children, youth, students and adults who like to spend time with their children in an interesting way. It is a way of designing free time away from the virtual world. For all those who are ready to get to know and like board games and those who already share time with friends accompanied by dice, pawns and boards.
