The Passage of Culture of the Lodz region
The culmination of 65 years of existence of the Lodz House of Culture. The project of the Passage opens another space for all those willing to learn about art, history and culture of the region. Its idea is to meet the needs of today’s audience. Taking the first steps along the Passage, we have the opportunity to get acquainted with temporary exhibitions, referring to the activities of LHC and cultural phenomena of the Lodz region. Then we you find yourself in a modern patio, which will invite you to reverie and relax. It has been designed so that everyone can find here a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Surrounded by greenery and in comfortable seats, you will be encouraged to stop for a long time and admire the art of film, projected on a large screen present here. Going further, you will have an occasion to a deeper reflection, analysing Prof. Andrzej Bartczak’s artistic-philosophical installation entitled „Bridges. Porcelain Library”. Apart from these attractions, you also be able to get acquainted with the history of the Lodz House of Culture [project in preparation, implementation: second half of 2020].
