Romuald Erenc

Graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź in guitar class. Postgraduate studies at the Bundesakademie fur Musikalische Jugendbildung in Trossingen (Germany). He has honed his skills at numerous master classes in Poland and abroad. For several years he has given solo and chamber concerts in Poland and abroad. He co-created the Entr Acte duo with Urszula Urbaniak, a flutist of the Łódź Philharmonic. In this duo he recorded a CD on Folk Time with music by Ravel, Villa-Lobos, Domeniconi and other 20th century composers. He is also the founder of the Entr`Acte Ensemble, with which he recorded a CD of music by Schubert and Matiegka. He has collaborated with many philharmonics in the country. For many years Romuald Erenc has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Artistry of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He has made numerous radio and television recordings. He has also recorded a CD with Polish carols. He took part in the project of the concert agency „Kantaro”-„Guitar Masters”, in which the most famous Polish guitarists participated. He is the artistic director of the festival „Music in old Sieradz”. Apart from classical music, he is actively involved in jazz music. He gave concerts with Andrzej Jagodziński Trio. He took part in the international Esfahan project. This project is an attempt to find common roots in the music of Europe and other exotic cultures. He recorded a CD of music for choir and guitar, which was released on the Acte-Preable label. He is the originator of the recording project Cyprian Bazylik -dzieła wszystkie (All Works), which received three nominations to the Fryderyk Polish Phonographic Industry Award, and his latest recording is Music of the Renaissance arranged for classical guitar.

He has written music for two nature films. These are: The Natural Phenomenon of Jeziorsko and The Grand Arch of Warta.

Recently, he recorded the album „Chopin on the strings” together with two jazz musicians: Maciej Strzelczyk playing the violin and Piotr Rodowicz playing the double bass.
