It is a series of cultural activities addressed to amateur music bands, whose work oscillates within rock and pop music. The main aim is to present and promote the artistic achievements of music bands from all over Poland, confront their artistic achievements and create conditions for the exchange of experiences between performers and instructors. Moreover, the activities carried out by the Lodz House of Culture promote the Lodz region on the musical map of Poland.
„Rockowanie” in the Lodz House of Culture is constantly growing in strength. It had its beginnings in the form of a local music festival, which evolved into a significant national event. Bearing in mind the interest of the participants and the potential of such events, we have extended our activities to include stationary concerts in the LHC and an educational programme shaping young generations of musicians.
