Roadside shrines

Landscape of All Saints… Reactivation – a project whose primary goal is to restore elements of the old folk landscape, in which small forms of sacral architecture played a special role, i.e. shrines, crosses and roadside figures. These objects were not only an expression of the faith, but also served as a historical and cultural message. They became a testimony of events from local and national history, important for maintaining national tradition. Small sacral architecture is reconstructed with the participation of folk artists according to traditional designs for a given region.
