There are two cinema halls in the Lodz House of Culture, the larger – Szpulka – is designed to show more mass, commercial films, cinema premieres, Hollywood productions, but of course with a high artistic or genre level. The smaller room, Perspektywa, was designed to present niche, artistic, independent cinema. We would like this room, after digitization
and modernization, to become a meeting place for people in love with the cinema this year.
In Perspektywa cinema, we will be showing European films, festival and documentary films, as well as live transmissions from concerts or theatre performances. Of course, there will also be meetings with film lovers, including the creators of the Educational Film Studio in Lodz. It will be a digital cinema with top quality sound showing all the best in the world’s film production in an intimate, friendly atmosphere, with a focus on designing the taste of cinema fans.
