The Regional Ecological Children’s Day with Literature and Art „Świerszczykowe wierszyki” – In 2019, the 48th edition of the competition took place. It is an event addressed to children in classes I-IV, which consists of: a recitation contest on ecological issues and art competitions such as ” Mały Przyrodnik „, a contest for illustration to a fairy tale or rhymes on ecological issues, and various family competitions on ecological issues in different years (for 6 years Świerszczykowe wierszyki have been organised with the support of the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Lodz). By 2019, 48 editions have been held and the planned edition for 2020 will be 49th.
