Counteracting social exclusion, promoting cultural activation of people over 60 and presentation and promotion of artistic achievements of senior citizens of the Lodz region are the main objectives of the „Station 60+” project. It is a platform for permanent cooperation with seniors aimed at developing a comprehensive offer of intergenerational integration activities in the field of culture and art.
„Station 60+” is an extremely important element of the cultural life landscape of the Lodz region. The programme of events implemented as part of the measure is developed and supplemented with the active participation of the project participants themselves – it is them who decide which forms of activity interest them most, which areas of creativity they want to present and where their next meetings will take place. The project initiated in 2016 is constantly growing and offers such forms of activity as: painting open air workshops, competitions, thematic forums, handicraft workshops, art reviews and trips.
